Did you know?
Do you believe that a person can jump 6 meters high?! Of course, you may claim "It is impossible!" But the laws of physics affirm it is quite possible. Nevertheless, not on Earth! Everyone is familiar with a fact that the gravitational field of the Moon determines the acceleration of gravity on its surface. The mass of the Moon is 81 times lighter than the Earth, and its radius is approximately 3.7 times less than the Earth’s one. Accordingly, the acceleration of gravity is also almost 1.7 times different (g = 1.66 N / kg). In conditions of such weak gravity, a person who jumps to a height of 1 meter in terrestrial conditions can jump 6 meters on the moon.
